You'll want a website that gets seen.

Getting on page one of google for most target searches isn't that hard if you know what you are doing, most of it boils down to common sense in the end. But it's surprising how many web sites don't feature even on the first six pages for keywords that are important to a business.

All of my designs are optimised for search engines.  One of the first questions I ask my clients results in information that will help me to get the site higher in the list for search terms that are relevant to the business and the site designed from the ground up with that in mind.

If most of your business is local then another way to get seen is with googlemaps.  It's free and, when utilised correctly, can be very effective.
